Automation how to: Demonstrate how to record and edit automation in Studio One.

Hello, my name is Francisco Fernández from León, Guanajuato, México. This Lesson is for week 4 of 'Introduction to Music Production' at Coursera.com. My Topic is "Automation how to: Demonstrate how to record and edit automation in your DAW".

My OS is Windows 7.

This is my session and I will focus on the track "Guitar#1":

First Select the Automation Mode 'Latch' on the Mix.

Now, Click on 'Expand Envolves' to see how it works.

Start recording, move the fader according to your needs, look at the changes.

You could also use the 'Touch', remember that if you release the mouse will return to the previously recorded parameters.

You can use the "eraser tool" to delete undesired dots on automation.

You can also use the 'Paint tool' to manually draw points.
